Install and use the Archibou Photo mobile app

The Archibou Photo mobile app lets you automatically back up your photos and access all your files from your smartphone.

Installation

Android

1. Open the Google Play Store
2. Search for Nextcloud
3. Install the official Nextcloud app
4. Or download the APK from https://nextcloud.com/install/#install-clients

iOS (iPhone / iPad)

1. Open the App Store
2. Search for Nextcloud
3. Install the official Nextcloud app

Setup

1. Launch the app
2. Enter the server address: https://archibou.cloud
3. Tap Log in
4. Enter your Archibou username and password
5. Tap Grant access

Automatic photo backup

Android

1. Open the menu (three lines in the top left)
2. Go to Settings > Automatic photo backup
3. Enable automatic backup
4. Choose:
5. Network: Wi-Fi only (recommended) or Wi-Fi and mobile data
6. Source folder: default camera
7. Destination folder: /Photos or a folder of your choice

iOS

1. Open the menu
2. Go to Settings > Automatic photo backup
3. Enable automatic backup
4. Choose the same options as Android

Access your files

From the mobile app:

• Files: browse all your folders
• Photos: chronological gallery of your backed-up photos
• Favorites: quick access to files marked as favorites
• Offline: files available without an internet connection

Mark a file as favorite

1. Long-press a file or folder
2. Tap the Favorite icon (star)
3. The file is quickly accessible from the Favorites tab
